BigBlueButton 0.8-beta-4 Released
The BigBlueButton core development team is pleased to announce the release of BigBlueButton 0.8-beta-4. We have added fit-to-width to the presentation window, giving presenter the ability to display any document as fit-to-width or fit-to-page using two new buttons (see image below).
The 0.8-beta-4 release now has a virtual machine (VM) that anyone download and run on the computer using VMWare Player/Workstation (PC and Unix) and VMWare Fusion (Mac). See download BigBlueButton 0.8-beta-4 VM.
We’ve also closed sixty-five issues since release of 0.8-beta-3. See release notes for details.
We encourage everyone who is interested in BigBlueButton to download (or install) 0.8-beta-4 and give us your feedback (see installation instructions for 0.8-beta-4). As a user, you can immediately try 0.8-beta-4 by logging into our BigBlueButton demo server. In any event, we encourage you to post your feedback to our bigbluebutton developer mailing list.

I have installed latest bbb. I found all users are logging is as Moderator automatically.How to change moderators to viewers or Can we allow one as moderator and others as viewer ?

In “BigBlueButton 0.8″ can I record(having the record button once I login as the admin and once I click on the record button the meeting should record ) my conference not only the presentation but also the chatting,video and the members list.. Can any one help me in configuring this in the ubuntu…

We currently record slides + audio + chat in BigBlueButton. BigBlueButton does not playback the video for the current release. If you have further questions, please see the FAQ and post the questions to bigbluebutton-setup.
